Hydor Koralia third generation cords failing
I'm wondering if anyone else has had the same experience with Hydor wave makers. I have had two Hydor Koralia wave makers (3rd generation) develop cracks in their power cords. One was smoking at the surface of the water and the other was actually producing a spark under water (didn't even know this was possible). They both lasted about 1.5 years.

I used two before. One gave electric shock after 1 year.
I’d avoid this brand. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Sounds like others have run into problems. I was surprised since I have purchased really cheap chinese wave makers before and never had this type of thing happen. I considered Hydor to be a step up, so am disappointed with their cord quality.
