Conch Poop

I have two conch’s inside my 75 gallon. Got them to help with the diatoms when they first started to appear. They’ve done a great job, but there is a ton of Conch poop on the sand bed. What do you guys do with it? Vacuum it up?

Thanks!

Vacuuming it out is probably your best bet. Getting the poop up into the water column is another option, but you'll probably have to increase the amount of flow in the tank to do this. Now the poop can be removed with a mechanical filter such as a sock or HOB. Make sure to clean this media on a regular basis too though.
