Help plumbing
I am planning to upgrade sump from a wet/dry to trigger ruby 36, the problem I am having is that the intake on the trigger uses 2 one inch fittings where as the existing sump uses a 2 inch barb on a silicone hose. I was thinking of doing a “y” barb fitting (2” inlet two 1” outlets) but cannot find anything that big. What other ideas do you guys have thanks.

Not 100% sure what you are describing but... if this is coming from the overflows into the sump I recommend using a strainer on the intakes. You never want something to be able to get into the drain that cannot pass all the way through, like a large snail that can fit in a 2" pipe but not through the 1".

Pictures of your existing plumbing would really be helpful. Can you post any pics?
