125 on a budget

Been away from aquaria for a decade, recently decided to get back into it. Just thought I'd see what yall thought, lining up equipment at the moment.

125rr/stand/hood $400 used, Craigslist
Essops 200 sump/reef octopus skimmer/wave line 6k return $250 used (new pump) Craigslist
Viparspectra 135w x3 new $300, Ebay
4 stage RO $60 new, Amazon
Misc heaters, pumps, power heads, ATO, salt mix, ect $300 new, Ebay
Misc building supplies, PVC, electrical, etc $200 Menards

$1500 to get it up and running. Picking up tank and sump Saturday, will hopefully get it up and running in the next couple weeks.

This looks like a good start, but there are a few things missing. Specifically rock, sand also (if not going bare bottom). You will also want to get some quality test kits pretty quickly along with a good refractometer and an ATO. IME there are always a TON of little things that I don't think about at first, and soon I have added several hundred dollars to the budget to accommodate them.

Keep us posted on the build and post pics ASAP (we LOVE pics).

Test kits, refract, and ATO are all covered. Live rock and sand, well, those are gonna wait for a good craigslist deal. Which shouldn't be that hard to find!
