TDS and salt creep

So i measure my water out of my tds to be zero..but is it an issue when in some of my jugs tds shows up with randon numbers kike 19 or 364 or 258 because at one point in time i had saltwater in those jugs so salt is still present..or when i use 1 pump between pumping saltwater into jugs and punping rodi water into jugs..if salt is whats throwing off my readings i should still be ok right?

If salt IS what it’s picking up, then yes you’ll be alright. Were the buckets used for anything else other than saltwater?

Zero TDS water is like a sponge and will quickly pick up dirt/dust,etc... if not instantly placed into a sealed/clean container..
What it picks up from the air,etc... though is basically harmless and totally fine to use..

On top of that even sealed containers can add TDS to DI water.
