Inexpensive Blue LED Light?
I've got a RSM130 (34G) tank and have a couple of white/blue LED lights (1 Hipargero, 1 Lumini). They seem to do OK for coral growth (well, I get some growth, anyway), but I was disappointed that neither of them really allows me to go to all-blue when I want.
I'd like to be able to get all-blue at times, to make my coral colors 'pop', as I've seen at my LFS. So I'm thinking of getting an extra blue LED to make the colors richer. But I only see blue + white lights, unless I get into really expensive territory. Doe anyone have experience with all-blue, reasonably affordable lighting -- maybe ~100? GBose |

But look for what?
Percula:
I certainly plan to shop on eBay and/or Amazon. But what do I look for? I need an inexpensive blue LED light - prefererably clamp-type -- to make my corals 'pop' What model/make do I seem for? GBose |

Maybe around $100; this is supplemental. I already have blue/white lights.

Seconding Amazon. I ran simple strip LED lighting around my normal lights and it worked great. Cheap, but great. Putting a dimmer on the system gave me good night light options as well.
I used these: https://www. LINKBREAK .com/Rxment-Strip-Lights-Remote-150LEDs/dp/B00V27VX7E/ref=zg_bs_17534489011_17?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1&refRID=FVQF8HRG2NMEDGDAQKSX Replace LINKBREAK with Amazon and it should get you there.

I wanted to add some Blue like you to make the corals pop. I didn't want to add another fixture to the tank and wanted to use the existing fixture. I opted for this DIY kit and was able to stick these LED's to the underside of the existing fixture. The Royal Blue color really makes the coral's color vibrant.
I have them on a timer to come on a couple of hours before the mains shut off, and stay on for another couple of hours afterwards for the moonlight effect. https://www.rapidled.com/4-led-solde...moonlight-kit/ |

Reef breeders Lumenbar.
Inexpensive but built a little better than most other Chinese stuff. https://www.reefbreeders.com/product...umenbar-color/
