new 250G DD need skimmer recommendation

Hello,

Any one can recommend a skimmer which can fit into a sump, and fit in the matching Monterey stand for a marineland 250G DD tank? The stand is short, interior height is only about 26".

I run a simplicity 240. Their a smaller footprint skimmer and a bit cheaper than some of the more well know names. In my experience it works well (2+years with no issues) and I'm happy with the proformance but I also don't have anything to compair it to. Maybe it's worth looking into their line of product for you. It will also depend on the auctual planned stock list of the tank though.

I had an eshopps s-300 great skimmer and about 23 inches high. Still have the skimmer n my new setup and it works like a champ.
