Lighting for a 16 gallon Nano?
H
ey, thanks for your time ! I have recently acquired a 16 Gallon nano been set up for a little bit, haven't added any coral yet (I have 2 mushrooms) as I'm not sure what light to get ? The current light came with the 'reef ready' pack inc heat, skimmer, power head return. Been looking at the a80 by Kessil or the Nemolight ? the a80 is only rated for 14 gallons.. so not sure! Links below: https://www.kessil.com/products/saltwater_A80.php http://aquamaxxaquariums.com/lightin...ht-aquamarine/ On some kind of a budget.. looking at keeping softies, LPS and maybe some easier to keep SPS - pic of tank for your time! Thanks heaps! Aaron |

I would most definetly recommend an ai prime (HD or normal), these lights can light up a 24” square. If you were looking at keeping sps I would put them closer to the light. If you are on a very tight budget a Chinese black box will also work fine
