help what is this and is it bad

No idea what it is, but it looks pretty cool! Interesting life abounds in reef tanks.

Just looked up what those are. Pretty cool, but pretty scary for a reef tank. The critter in the pic does kind of look like one, though. And in the "you learn something new everyday" category, the bobbitt worm is officially a Eunice worm that earned it's nickname from its similarity in tactics and capabilities with the famed Lorena Bobbitt.

thank you for your help.
someone had suggested medusa worm and it looks more like that than a bobbit worm. the tentacles are feathery and i had a bunch of them on my glass (no bodies just the feathery part)when i started the tank and then i thought they disappeared but perhaps some grew bodies. the body is transparent.
