Need help identifying a nuisance hair like growth that is spreading in my tank

Started about 2 weeks ago with only a couple of these white hair like or worm like things attaching to my tank walls. Now they are showing up on the rocks as well. I was pulling them off but they keep coming back more and more. They have a base that attaches to the surfaces then a long white hair like piece that is between 1” - 2” long that is floating. Pictures kind of show them, reflection is hard to take good pic. I can’t seem to find anything online that matches what this is...
