Tunze 9004 skimmer height out of water?

Wondering if anyone with one of these can measure how far the skimmer sticks out of the water? (ie if its operating at 9" water level, what is the distance from the water line to the top of the skimmer)

Reason I ask is I'm building a custom "sump" with a lid, and I want to make sure I will put just enough clearance room above the skimmer, so that I can still put the lid on top on hide everything.
