Jebo retrun?

Could a Jebo return pump produce micro bubbles in the dispaly?

I have a 60 cube with a eshopps R-100 underneath. I have had mico bubbles in my display for weeks now and can not figure out why. The skimmer is not producing many micro bubbles and I see none in the return chamber. The only thing I can figure out is there is something wrong with the Jebo return pump that is producing bubbles. Suggestions

Maybe the Tee and elbow at the top causing issues?

I’m assuming you have already checked to make sure the return pump is under water still so other then that I would say check all your fittings again and make sure they are very snug.

All fittings snug. I know that I did not glue the bottom of the return to the bulk head. But this is in the overflow and submerged in water. Other then that everything is right. The pump is under water by 3-4inches.

I'd bet you're drawing air in the lock line. I'd take them off and apart, clean them good, and use some thread sealant putting the adapters back in.

I used teflon tape when I screwed in the loc line. They were all brand new when I bought them. But I can try giving them a good cleaning.

Eliminate the loc line and just go with painted PVC?

I didn't notice any excess so supposed there was none.

I've had similar trouble with exposed loc line. Each ball and socket has the potential to suck air - water moving through each piece is similar to a venturi -

So I solved the micro bubbles problem.....

Now, I have another return pump question.

I have a tunze 3155 ATO with the sensor in the return chamber. The issue is the water level fluctuates in the return chamber for some reason. The water level will drop and the ATO will kick on putting RODI water in the chamber. The chamber then fills up again with water from the dispaly making the high water alarm kick on. Within a few seconds the water level drops kicking on the ATO pump again. This is a continued cycle until I turn off the ATO. I can literally watch the water level rise and fall. This is causing too much RODI water to be put in the tank which is lowering my salinity and making my skimmer go crazy.

Suggestions?

I'm guessing you know this already but…..the return chamber should stay at a constant level. I've never seen or heard of the problem you're having but I'm guessing it's an easy fix once you figure out what's going on.…..I'm sure that there are people here that can give you some help figuring it out....
