Cool 400 watt 20k SE Radium vs Hamilton 400 watt 20k SE Haliddes

I’ve run 3 Radiums on my 265 gal SPS tank for 3 years.. anyone have experience with the Hamilton bulb.. price difference is $85 vs $59..

Although Radium has been labeled 20K, they match the color of a Phoenix 14K. Contact Hamilton directly.

Following out of curiosity. I know they designed the 20k 250 watt to share the same spectral characteristics as the 250 watt radium if run on an electronic ballast (the 14k bulb is actually closer in spectral character and output to what you get in a radium run on an m80). But no talk of the 400 watt has been present in how it compares. I know the 400 watt radiums are different spectrally than the 250

I did not know that, I was under the impression that the radium 250 & 400 ran the same spectrum.

I had bought some 400W radium lamps in anticipation of my new photovoltaic solar system but decided to wait until autumn before I install them... even with free electricity, I don’t know if my house AC would be able to keep up with those.
