I D please.
Cannot find this online, it occasionally moves to a different area of the tank, always overnight, also there is a small crab which hides behind it most of the time. There are 15 to 20 long tentacles, cannot count them accurately! It has grown bigger in a few months. The tentacles are twisted along their length, it catches any food nearby and puts in the mouth with the tentacles. Could it catch a small fish?
Thank you. Trying to attach pictures, attach file link not working at the moment.

It attatches to the rock with foot, the same way aptasia attaches, balls up some times - not sure if the crab is moving it around the tank. Long wavy tentacles about 2 inches.light redish brown with cream color bands around the tentacles.
Just curious..

No mcgyver ty, it has very slender spiraling tentacles which taper to a point and are almost transparent with cream color loops along the length.

curly q anemone? Can you say that yes its an anemone?
Its it bigger than a dime? Bigger than a golf ball? apple? fist? watermelon? Typically a healthy fish can escape the feeding process of anything with a mouth near its size..

Just to be sure, can a individual aptasia move around the tank, there is only one of these with the crab which hides in the area behind it and comes out occasionally to look for food nearby.
