2 tanks 1 sump plumbing?

I have 2 tanks running currently, a 40g breeder reef with sump and a 10g rock flower anemone tank. I just ordered quite a few upgrades for the 40 and was thinking I should put the 2 on the same sump. I have an icecap sump with only one drain port. My questions is if I put a put a tee there and plumbing the 2 overflows in it will it cause issues?

I done that a 180 and 25 cube same sump. Make sure that you double check water volume when power goes out so not to flood your floor
