Lightning height above water?

I have 3 AI hydra 26s and 1 AI hydra 32 over a 8foot long tank that is 2 feet deep and 2 feet wide. Tank is lps dominant but I have some sps and would like more. Right now I have the lights 5.5 inches above water. There is no light spilling outside the tank. To low?

BRS did a lot of testing on lights.
Check You Tube, the Hydras were included.

If you dont have a PAR meter...Id definitely highly recommend the BRS Lighting videos 8 days a week!!! I have found their extensive work takes a lot of the guess work out of the equation and gives you the right amount of PAR and spread where you need it!

This Thread has all the info you should need. It's long, but has settings and programs you can use.
