That is interesting, can you take a natural light photo to show its true colors by chance?

Here you go, looks like acan head but completely different colour to the main coral.

Mouth structures don't match the main Acans and different color, looks harmless id just let it grow out, eventually when its larger it can be identified easier. Always interesting to get something odd once in a while. Looks more like a rock anemone to me atm then anything else.

Coral, not pest. let it grow. Based on proximity, I'd say it's a new bud, but I hear you on mouth shape...stranger things have happened.

It looks nothing like any pests in the hobby, so let it grow. If it's different and combined, cool! If it's another head, also cool.
