Bubble King mini 160 with a 60G cube ?
I have been in search for the quietest skimmer possible. After research and some great tips from the forums on here I was going to purchase the Nyos quantum 120 but found a local reefer selling the mini 160. It’s quiet ! After watching BRS review they say to undersized the BK skimmers because they work so good your system needs to be able to produce enough “junk” for them to be effective ? Website says 53-132g. Will I be ok if I go on the hevy site of fish stocking and feeding ? Anyone with this skimmer have any input ? I left a message with the BK rep on the site as well. TIA

Yes I spoke with him. He recommended the 130 but it’s a big price difference as I can find one used and large footprint. I have seen a few of the 160s on reefer250 with success. I guess load up on fish and feed ?
