Calcium reactor pump flow
Hey can you guys check out this video and see if the flow rate going through the calcium reactor here looks normal? It's an old Mini-Cal with an Eheim pump. Is the flow I've got adequate? The pump is very loud.

Looks a tad bit on the low. Is the impeller loose on the shaft? Maybe the impeller is wobbling around in the motor causing the rattling sound.
Now granted you don’t want massive amounts of flow. Also I like having an upward flow in my calcium reactors. I like to have the co2 bubbles going through the media. Here’s a vid of my current calcium reactor I built https://youtu.be/6F3sj7T5Lkw |

That video is deceiving.
The Eheim recirculates water through the unit too, so what you see is not what comes out from the needle valve. I have the same unit & have a Kamoer pump pulling water through the unit along with the Eheim. Runs just fine.

No, not even close. I would check the pump.
