156G skimmer suggestion
I have a 13 year old Deltac 600, I think, skimmer. One pump is dead and the other keeps dying but I am able to revive it by taking it apart. I have not been able to find a replacement pump.
Don't want to see the day when the only pump is dead. I am looking for new skimmer but I have no idea what the current models are. Can someone recommend a skimmer for a 156G with a 40G sump (40G breeder) where my current skimmer sits in. Sump is behind and lower than the tank so height of skimmer should not be an issue. Living on a pension so hope spend about $600 and not $6000. Thanks in advance. |

Call Jeff at Lifereef. http://lifereef.com
You'll spend less than $600 for a workhorse. There is a thread here on RC devoted just to Lifereef. http://www.reefcentral.com/forums/sh...light=lifereef http://lifereef.com/venturi.html

If you use Aquabee 2000/1 pumps they can be replaced by Red Devil pumps.
