Dehumidifier

Dehumidifier
I have a 265 Reef and recently just purchased a dehumidifier can I pump that water directly back into my reef tank

I would not. You have no idea what may be in the water. They normally also use copper pipes in them.

I agree, the water is condensation from room air onto copper pipes that also have lead soldered joints all over. The water will be carrying any pollution from the room air as well which could be anything from perfumes, smoking/vaping to glade plug ins, cooking etc.. i definatly would not use it for anything with delicate marine animals in it period.

A good use for it is in your washing machine or watering plants.

Salinity 1.024-6; alkalinity 8.3-9.3 on KH scale; calcium 420; magnesium 1300, temp 78-80, nitrate .2. Ammonia 0. No filters: lps tank. Alk and cal won't rise if mg is low.

Current Tank Info: 105g AquaVim wedge, yellow tang, sailfin blenny,royal gramma, ocellaris clown pair, yellow watchman, 100 microceriths, 25 tiny hermits, a 4" conch, 1" nassarius, recovering from 2 year hiatus with daily water change of 10%.

Just for another view, it could potentially be used if you have test kits that are thorough and accurate enough to catch any of the contaminants that are likely in there. I've heard only rumor of people actually doing this, however.
