new tank suggestions
I am thinking about getting a new tank. My current tank is very old and not drilled. I've had a small house fire as a result of the overflow getting water on the floor that dripped down onto my circuit box. Saltwater and electric do not mix.
My question is this. Oceanic tanks are about $250 more than the comparable AGA tank. Why? Is there a difference in the glass box? Acrylic is far too expensive so that isn't an option for me. |

Thought I would revive this thread, since I have the exact same question. What is the difference between an Oceanic and AGA tank?
Is it only glass thinkness and/or quality? Maybe the trim? I think they both use the same overflow. I am planning to get a 90g RR. Thank you for any info. |

According to my LFS there is no difference, both are owned by the same company now.
