400 watt m59?
can a Aluminum 16†High Bay 400 watt m59 be hung over a tank and used. I found a pdf file with a picture i don't know for sure if it is the same name.
http://www.howard-ind.com/HowardLigh...ays/HAL16O.pdf I can get one for free if it would work. |

Yes,but your limited on bulbs.Because of the bulb pointing down in that fixture.but other than that the m59 is a great ballast and will run most bulbs.

so it would be smart to go ahead and get the ballast and just replace the reflector and socket. I can get a couple of the ballast by themselves. They are also "suitable for moist conditions"

Sounds good to me.Beats paying $40-$50 for a bare ballast.
