VHOs flickering
Hello i have 2 110w VHOs over my newly set up tank. i got a ballast used for free (cant beat that). Ok when i have my bulbs in one of the bulbs i have to turn and adjust to get them to come on. I think that problem is because of the way i have my endcaps set. Well when they are both lit sometimes they will flicker badly. I was wondering what do you think the problem is. Thanks

i've seen that problem before, and it was one of the bulbs, try taking it to a LFS and trying out one of their bulbs. hope that helps

bulbs will usually flicker if they are not placed properly inside the fixture.
