Pics of my 60 gal tank and coral frags...opinions plz
Is it just me, or do people stock their systems with MUCH MORE liverock and corals than I have in my tank? I started my saltwater tank about 8 months ago, and I feel like I barely have anything in it!
Here are a few pictures I took with my girlfriend's camera. What do you guys think? Water conditions are stable so far, but i want to get my micro/macro algae under control before adding more corals and/or fish. |

First of all:
To Reef Central Your tank looks great. I would definetly build your rockwork up a little higher and deeper, but it really looks good so far.

usually people will use 1 to 2lbs of rock per gallon in their tanks. There is no right or wrong way to do that, if you like the tank than it it fine. If you think you need more rock, add it to the point of where you think it is enough. Th more rock the beter since it acts as a natural filter. More rock will actually help your tank out and it will become more stabile than it is right now with what you have.
