Replacement RO filters and can I buy DI resin to refill..
I picked up a used RO 6 stage system made by WaterGeneral MFG. I believe it's an ebay unit. It has a refillable DI chamber which is starting to change color. My TDS on the input is around ~70 and the output is always ~7.5. I want to get my output down to 0 or as close as possible, so I'm assuming it's time to change the filters.
airwaterice says they don't sell a bag of DI resin. They said I need to buy this: http://www.airwaterice.com/product/DI-M33R115 to replace my di. What's the point in buying a refillable DI cartridge if I can't find a bag of DI anywhere? Anyway, like I said, this kit is a 6 stage so what should I get and from where? Thanks, Zack |

i get my resin from buckeyefieldsupply. you can get 5# for $39. that will last you awhile. just keep it airtight and away from light. alot cheaper than buying canisters. you could also get a 2 part resin instead of a mixed-bed and recharge yourself. i have been thinking of going this way.

it comes in a big ziplock bag. not ideal for long term storage. i put the ziplock and all in one of those big plastic containers with a screw on lid.
