Had it with DAMSELS! Nipping my crocea now - how can I remove??
Hi everyone -
PLEASE HELP!! Well, one of my lovely damsels is at it again... this time nipping at the mantle of my crocea causing it to retract and not open fully. I will never make the mistake of getting another damsel, but now how can I get him out of my tank full of corals and rock? I have heard of some clever techniques and was wondering if anyone has had success with any of them and what you did. Thanks |

I made the same mistake as you did. When I first got my tank I got 5 damsels. Then they kept killing everything I put in my tank. The only way I was able to get those suckers out was to take 75% of the water out and all of the rocks. I just left the coral in the tank. It was much easier to catch them.

You can try with a small hook*20 and line. I went with Cardinals in place of Damsels. I feel they are just as hardy and nice looking.
