SKimmer bubbles in tank

Hi all, I have a Seaclone 100 HOB skimmer on my 29 gal and recently it's been putting bubbles out into the water no matter how loose or tight I adjust the air valve.

Any ideas on what the problem might be?

It's a relatively new skimmer (maybe 2-3 months old). Once I've taken it down and cleared out the algae.

I don't really know much about what proceses are going on to keep the bubbles inside the skimmer v. coming out with the flow, so I'm not sure what piece I need to be examining.

Yeah but you still need to clean it on a weekly basis.

Hmmm, OK. I really didn't know that! But I'll do that from now on (I tend to be very meticulous, I had just never heard of weekly cleaning of the skimmer).

Julio, do you know what specifically would be causing bubbles to reenter the water? Is there a thread somewhere that goes into this?

Thanks for your help.

There a lot of factors that would cause air bubbles to enter your tank from your skimmer, in this case is a HOB skimmer so the bubbles would come directly to the tank.
Cleaning the skimmer would cause it to perform better and would do a better job on yoru tank.
