Oceanic Bulkhead leaking - need replacement, but what size?
I took my skimmer out from under my stand with its pump tonight and realize I have a real problem on my hands.
The 1" bulkhead for the drain from the oceanic tank is leaking. There is salt creep everywhere and the floor of the inside of the stand where the skimmer sits is all messed up. I think the stand is ok, but I will need a new bulkhead. The tank is quite old, so it doesn't surprise me. What size/brand of 1" bulkhead will fit in the drain hole on the Oceanic 180? If someone has a dry Oceanic I would appreciate it if they could measure the hole for me. So much salt everywhere. What a mess. Thanks. Jamie |

Any standard 1" bulkead should fit. Just make sure you don't get the heavy duty as they require a larger hole. check with savko.com.
