Japanese Tank!!!
OK, I couldn’t take it any longer I was amazed by this photograph of this tank!
I saw this tank on this forum thread... http://www.reefcentral.com/forums/sh...5&pagenumber=1 So I had to do some research to find out more about it. Not only did I find it’s origin but I found stats, descriptions, and a lot more pictures. I also found some text about the tank. I had to run it through a translator so the exact words (I believe) are not correct, but some of the meaning stills seams to come out. If anyone else knows anything about this tank please let me know. Enjoy… The tank was listed in a community section with a shop/farm/breeder in Japan. Their website is: http://www.cpfarm.com Tank Specs: Leaf Aquarium Size of Display 1100 x 1000 x 550 mm Size of Sump 1200 x 450 450 mm Total water content approx. 750 liters Translation of Description (no guarantee): In condition such as design, strength and size, the tank of the ideal shape which C.P.Farm thinks was not marketed and the original work did. Only the top and bottom is all glass tank of the stainless steel framework. As the merit of this tank, the point which can do the layout where degree of freedom of layout is high in comparison with the general long and narrow tank, has depth. In addition 1 installing the large-sized aspirator in the rear corner on the water-flow surface, by the fact that you send the water flow on the diagonal, it is possible to make the entire strong flow. Pushing also the flow to which the effect of the flow which has the kind of torque which the water of the whole tank turns very is large, enters into the opening of the rock uniting of live lock, from after without being stagnant there, being pushed in the approaching/leaning ? ? flow, seeking the exit it runs around between the rock group like maze to vertical mutual loan. In addition with the photograph it has not been taken on the design aspect,, but the stainless steel framework of the bowl volume condition where the tank top and bottom is thin is beautiful, seeing recently the framework of popularity it is not in comparison with the tank, feels the sense of relief and the ? has liked. Especially, when in artistic feeling, considering, as one picture ratio of the length and breadth which is visible balance best and the stainless steel framework of the top and bottom which hits against the frame most pulled inside tongue ? and in order to raise, representing the tank, designed. Important thing polishes the glass surface in. Cleaning of the moss of course is, but the glass surface outside "you wipe", are not and are the feeling which "it polishes". In addition, in order to be able to clean the moss around in extensively, the somewhat opening also the fact that it is less crowded, seems like the secret which maintains the tank cleanly between rock group and the glass surface.

Beautiful tank!! But frankly, it looks "staged". Dendronepthya? C'mon. Is that orange sponge on the right? Again, c'mon. Otherwise, fabulous aquascaping. And I think I'd have to hire a full time assistant to keep my glass THAT clean, even in the back?!
