Quick Q on PC wattage

I see a lot of people here reffering to 100W of PC or 200W of PC whay do they mean by that???

The PC I have says 28W whic is supposed to be equal to 120W of normal light, does that mean I have 120W of light or do I need a few more of those bulbd to get past the 100W range??

No, no. Nobody here or in the aquarium industry really says that whole "28W of PC equals 100W of normal light" etc, etc. It's just 28W PC period. Hope that helps.
