Just when you have it all figured out.....

After spending months going over info, comparing color types I had finaly decided on the 3X250W halide setup to get.

Then, as always I see the Iwasaki aqua2 14k in this Thread

The color is awsome, the PAR is good, but can it do the job of a 250W? I have seen many threads where people claim to do fine with VHO and/or 175W halide on SPS and clam systems. Others have a fit saying you 'NEED' the 250 Halide for these. Could this single bulb possibly fill that gap?


125g, looking at mostly LPS, softies some Monti and a few clams {not sure which}
