How long do you let silicone cure for
I thew out my tupe of silicone before checking to see how long untill it is completely dry, is it 24 hrs?

I'm assuming your using Aquarium Silicone? This is the Acetic acid based stuff. It smells like strong vinegar. I dont have a tube either but I recal that it was AT LEAST 24 hrs if not 48 or so...

I used ge silcone 1, thats what most people on here use. I found out as long as it doesnt have any of the ingrediants that kill fungus and stuff your ok. Its window and door

Is GE II ok for underwater use? I dont think Ive ever used it on anything submerged. But if other people are having success, I'm sure its fine... You can log into www.geplastics.com and get the data sheet if you want.
