Question Anyone have or had Tiger Cowrie in Reef?

I just purchased a tiger cowrie, I was told it is reef safe, any experiences with this animal would be a big help, thanks

I've read that they can get fairly large like 4" and will rearrange your rocks or knock over frags.

I have a pair of money cowrie's in my tank and they don't get much bigger than an inch. So there isn't as much a problem with them rearranging stuff.

Money Cowries or Ring Cowries are your best bet as they stay small.

I had a tiger cowrie and it started eating my green star polyp at night. Be ware of any soft corals like that.

They are very close:

Cypraea annulus, gold ringed cowrie

Cypraea moneta, money cowrie
