Are Purple Tunicate Mobile?

Hello All:

Four days ago I added a purple tunicate to my mxed reef tank....It was firmly seated in a piece of live rock when I put in in my tank but the next morning I found it on the bottom about 3 inches below its live rock perch.

I reset it in the same spot thinking one of my clean-up crew might have knocked it off the edge and it happened again....I moved it to a different live rock last night and firmly anchored it...This morning same thing....Found it on the bottom. This has happened now for the past three nights....I must admit that it was an impluse buy and there is not a tremendous amount of info available on tunicates, but does anyone know if they are mobile, like an urchin?
