Baffle height in a 20L sump???
I'm building a 20L sump for my 65g and I need a little advice on Baffle height. My sump will flow Left to Right (Skimmer-->Refugium-->Return) and I need some help on baffle height. I will have a 3 baffle bubble trap before the refugium and an additional baffle for the end of the refugium. How tall (inches) should my refugium baffles be?

height of the baffles will determine the depth of the water. Set it at a depth able to handle your display draining if power goes out. so it won't overflow.

Hmmm, guess I should've known that. This is my first sump so I'm trying to get the dumb questions outta the way early in the build!

My baffles are at 9" in my 15 gallon sump, which have the same dimensions as a 20L but 6" shorter (I think). You can also adjust how much water will flow into the sump when the pumps are off depending on your return piping and/or siphon break.
