Re-aquascaping establised tank, sand bed & rack
Partly because I need to eliminate some encrusting corals and zoanthids to make room for other corals, and partly because I want to create more flow and surface area in my 92 gallon corner tank - I want to build a PVC or acrylic rack for my live rock and go more vertical with my rock layout.
Since my sand bed is about 5 inches deep, do you think the rack legs should still be long enough to reach the bottom of the tank, or is there enough sand so that the sand will support the legs of the rack? I plan on drilling holes in the legs to allow for sand critters to be able to do their thing. Thank you. |
