Anyone Using Trigger Systems Sumps Or Skimmers?
Just ordered my new 180 from Acrylic Creations. So, now I am going to start the painful, restless nights of selecting equipment. This is my 5th time doing this now.....but aint it fun...just like putting your list together for Santa!
Anyway, the Trigger Systems sumps look very attractive on PA. They also make Beckett skimmers. Anyone here with any of their equipment??? If so, what's your opinion? Thanks, Mack |

David builds them, and is a member of DFWMAS. A number of club members have them, and just about every LFS in our area carries his skimmers.
I've seen his work, and I'm very impressed. |

Thanks Melev!
I really like the look of his sumps....great ideas. Skimmer is still up in the air....was thinking either ETSS 600 or EVO 750, Trigger or Pecision Marine Bullet 2. I've already had the ETSS EVO 750 and a Bullet 2. Bullet 2 was good....EVO 750 really kicked but on my old 180 and small footprint. Fact that I'm placing everything under my stand instead of basment ths time has me considering more compact equipment. |

I'd have to say the most popular skimmer I see praised is the ASM G-3. It seems everyone likes it. Will your stand have room for that skimmer in one of the Trigger System sumps? You might have to let David know what skimmer you want to buy, so he'll make the appropriate sized area for it.
As far as I know, all of his skimmers are always plumbed externally to his sumps. |
