Refugium in a bucket
I have a 180 gallon tank, and I need a refugium. I was thinking about taking an old salt bucket and turning it into a refugium, using a uniseal to create an overflow and feeding it from one of my overflows.
What do you all think? Anyone done this? Pics? I want to do it for export and pods. Export mainly with chaeto. Thanks! Jamie. |

Don't see why this won't work. People use buckets to make a remote sand bed with great results.

Take a look at this guy's fuge. He used a plastic container from Wal Mart. You could do something similar with the bucket.
