MH e-ballast comparable to Coralvue 250w?

I picked up a used 250w Coralvue e-ballast last week, and I'm looking to get another ballast to closely match. First, how good of a ballast is this? I haven't done much research on metal halide setups. Where can I find a comparable ballast or the same ballast for a good deal? I just want to make sure I don't have to buy different bulbs, or worry that I'm getting better light on one side of the tank.

Customaquatic.com sells them, as far as how good they are, I have no idea. cnidarianreef.com compares various bulbs on different ballasts, find the bulb that runs best(desired color and PAR) on your ballast.
