Try joes juice or Kalk mixed in water to a slight paste, put that on them to kill them, boiling water may do it also.

what you are refering to is called aiptasia if you want to do a search. i used the joe's juice after pepermint shrimp did not work, i had to do a double dose to kill it, the 1st dose made it shrink but came back in about 10 days and dosed it again and it dissappeared for good

I had success with a syringe and hot hot tap water, injected into center of the aiptaisa.

I appreciate the quick replies. They are not aiptasia. They are more like a mini anemoe with rose tips at the end. Tenacle are only about 1/4 of inch long. I tired to post a picture but I only have jpeg.

Would like to email a nice picture to anyone how is willing to let me know thier email.

I beleive what he is trying to describe is the "Red tree foram" (Homotrema rubrum). I have them in my tank and i identified them in "The Pocket Expert Guide" Marine Invertebrates-500+ Essential-To-Know Aquarium Species written by Ronald L. Shimek, Ph.D. (they are on page 20 in you have the book)

You can take care of tulip anemones the same way you'd get rid of Aiptasia or Majanos. Covering them with or injecting Kalk paste, injecting Joe's juice, lemon juice, vinegar, or hot water, any of these should do the trick.

I sent a picture to the person who's name is "Finding Nemo". very simlar to the tulip picture posted but tenacle are a little thinner.

Will the lemon juice kill the good stuff inside rocks or other mushrooms on same rock?

Thanks again.
