suction cups

my powerhead suction cups always seem to "stiffen" after a few months and lose their suction

any suggestions on how to prevent this?

boil em in water for 30 seconds!

I've been using my algea cleaner magnet to support one of the power heads.

unfortunately, my cuke was sucked into the other powerhead last night
