TDS = total disolved solids. Its generally how you measure the purity of your RO/DI water. You need a TDS meter to measure it.

Are you using RO/DI water for top off and mixing salt?

yeah. I am. I always have. I have been doing this a year and all of the sudden I have an algea problem. I think it is from feeding with mysis and not rinsing them in water before i put them in. I don't have much stock and I am thinking about doing a 100% water change. I only have a few things. I did a 50% change before and my 2 clams had no problem with that.

You wanna go to your other thread and work on it there so there arent two threads figuring out the same problem? It might be simpler.
