Lightbulb peppermint shrimp and aiptasia

I have complained of three of the world's most useless peppermint shrimp---and aiptasia. I also had an alkalinity decline while calcium stayed high. Funny thing, coincidental with the alkalinity crisis, the shrimp had stolen the fishfood by preference and declined any anemone-extermination. Then I began to fix the alkalinity. Their taste for aiptasia returned quite abruptly as alkalinity rose. They came out of their rocks and began hunting. My apologies to the maligned shrimp: I think there's a connection.
