pc lighting question
I have a 46 gal bow front tank that has 2 96 watt pcs made by oddessy on it. I only have a basic mushroom rock and a pipe organ in the tank other than my fish. I would like to know how long to keep the lights on for? and can I split the time up since I work so much and depending on work sometime dont get to see the tank. Could I run the lights for 4 hours in the morning and 4 at night with a 4 hour break or would this mess everything up?
thank you for your help

run them on a straight day/night schedule. go with 9-12hrs. You can set them to turn on later so you can enjoy it more.
Ive heard stories of a 8 pm to 6 am daytime. |

I would run the lights as mentioned above for no less than 8 and no more than 12 hours a day. You can have th lights come on at 8 at night until 6 in the morning if you want, as long as the corals get there determined lighting for the day you wont have a problem.

Yes your corals should be fine as long as they get 8-12 hrs. Though if you do the 8pm-6am schedule, your fish may get a little stressed out unless your room is pretty dark during the day; just a thought.
