I just got two of the to use for my water station. They seem to work well ... but only had it running for a few days now.

Not a lot of noise ... but there is a hum.

If I find anything bad ... I'll let you know.

quiet one pumps

I just did a lot of searching here on rc. What came up often was the pump not wanting to restart without help after a power outage.

I decided to go with mag pumps, not too many negatives on them. Good luck

Mags are good and power efficent. I have had just about every one made. I've always used them subnmerged in the sump, and have always had heat problems in the summer.

With my new tank I used Gex-X mounted on moter pads to quit the pump. Just a little hum and they are pressure rated. They do a lot better job and don't transfer heat to the water since they are mounted outside the sump.
