Is it ok to mix cleaner and pistol shrimps?
I have a 3" Tiger Pistol in my tank and I want to add a common cleaner shrimp to the mix. I figure these guys would be ok since the Pistol stays in/under the rocks, but thought I would check before I add a cleaner. Any insight is appreciated!

I have both and there fine, I don't think they even know that each other exists.

My pistol can't stand it when the cleaner pokes his head into the pistol's cave, it sets off a volley of snapping and makes the cleaner run for cover. It happens about once a month, and other than that they're fine together

That's exactly what happened to one of my cleaners except that the cleaner got shot by the pistol for entering his home. Resulting in one dead cleaner shrimp.
