Does my clownfish have epilepsy?

Ok i have a pair of false percula clownfish, and i think they are becoming a mated pair, as they are always around each other and always play. Well tonight the smaller one has started flipping to a 45 degree angle and doing some violent shaking, but only when within about 2 inches of the other clownfish. It is completely healthy, eating a ton and swimming all around the tank doing acrobatics and such. Besides a small green algae outbreak, the tank is completely healthy. Is this just natural strange clownfish behavior or does my fish have a neural disease or something

That is the clown showing submission to the more dominant clown, so the one shaking will be the male most likely.

Mine both shake and clean at a spot on a rock.... that's all they ever do, been going on for about 5 months......still no eggs! (angry)

I think they might both be female sometimes.

Yes they have epilepsy. Get fishfood with Depekote or Valproic Acid in it and make sure they wear a helmet .

That is the famed "wiggle dance" If you watch carefully, you will see the "female" rush at the "male" and try to nip his belly or fins. In response, the male will do his wiggle dance. Even after they pair up and one becomes the female, they will keep doing this dance. It seems to be a bonding thing.

I have a pair of true percula clowns. I have had them for around a year and from what i know they have not mated. I have moon lights, i was told that that would "put them in the moon" but i have never seen eggs layed. What could be happening?

It could take 5 - 6 years.

My smaller one does that to the larger. I'm going on three years with my true percs... and no eggs yet either . They both hang around each other and sleep in the same anemone but nada.... I guess it just takes time. My smaller one has somewhat caught up (size wise) to the larger one but you can still tell who's the boss (female?). Hmmm.
