Randy's 2-part solution

I was just curious, I made up some of Randy's 2 part and added a light dose, and it turned my tank into a snow globe. It slowly returned to normal (didn't take long) is this ok/normal?

when you add the alk part in it will cloud up for about 2 sec. then its gone. if your whole tank clouded up then i would say somethings wrong. do you know your current alk, calc, and mag levels? you can always ask Randy in the chemistry forum as well.
