reef clean up crew
does anyone have a good suggestion to what kind of clean up crew to get for a reef enviornment. alot of people talk about hermit crabs and snails and such, but i always hear that hermit crabs pick on corals, and also eat snails to use their shells. i'm starting to notice a bit of hair algae to grow a little more than normal and my tang doesn't seem to be keeping up with it....

avoid the blue leg hermit crabs. they destroyed my snail population. the red scarlet reef are fine. my astrea snails mow down the hair algae to the point that you can't find any in my tank. i have red scarlet, nacarissus (spelling?) snails, astrea snails, and emerald crabs. i also have a sand sifting star, conch, and cucumber. looks clean
